COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES: |
2010 Successfully organized and coordinated a fundraising event for St. Baldrick’s Foundation with over 100 volunteers, over 1000 guests, and over $70,000 raised for childhood cancer research. May, 2010. |
2011 Successfully organized and implemented the Inaugural Shave, Brave, Save event on September 24, 2011 to raise funds for the MACC Fund Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders and awareness to childhood cancers and blood disorders. |
2011 - Present Successfully organized The Giving Three, group of volunteers made up of doctors, nurses, research scientists, staff, patients and families from the hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant divisions of the MACC Fund Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders. While the goal is to raise money, the focus is on strengthening the bond between kids and families battling life threatening diseases and their care providers. |
