1998 1998- Directly advise the categorical pediatric residents at Children’s Hospital. Meet with approximately 1/3 of residents a minimum of twice each year to discuss their performance, provide feedback, review in-training examination scores, and provide career and job placement counseling.
2000 Developed Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for use in Rheumatology as both a teaching instrument and an evaluation instrument.
2001 Organize annual Pediatric Board Review Course, a 3-day course with multiple faculty presenters for former residents and current fellows
2005 Supervise and teach pediatric rheumatology fellows in clinic and on consult service

EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION:
1998 Resident Continuity Clinics: Recruit community pediatricians to serve as preceptors for residents’ weekly half-day continuity clinics.
1998 Resident Recruitment: Interview approximately 100 applicants for pediatric and combined medicine/pediatric residency program each year.
1998 Resident Child Development and Behavior Rotations: During 1998-1999, directly supervised the month-long development rotation for PL-1 residents.
