Improvement and Patient Safety; This included 7, monthly, 3.5 hour
sessions, CME-accredited online courses with the Institute for Healthcare
Improvement, and self-study. Also completed a QI project regarding
influenza immunization in pediatric liver transplant patients. My
intervention increased influenza immunization rates in this population
from 60% to 82%. This led to an ongoing intervention to provide
influenza immunizations annually in Liver Transplant Clinic to transplant
patients and patients with chronic liver disease.

Liver Disease Family Advisory Council
Established a "families as partners" advisory council for patients with liver disease or liver transplant to advise the liver team in how we can be more responsive to the needs of this population and to improve care and quality of life. We have projects to improve the educational content of our website, to develop educational videos, and to improve the transition process to adult care.
