12/16/2006 - 12/19/2006 AAMC Mid Career Women Faculty Professional Development Seminar. Applied and accepted to the program. A 3 day course focusing on leadership and career development in academics, enhance skills in communication, improve knowledge of institutional finance and departmental budgeting processes and expand networks of mentors and colleagues in academic medicine.
10/2007 - 03/2008 UWM & MCW Faculty Leadership Development Program. One of 30 participants selected. A 9 day intensive course focusing on finance/accounting, health care information technology, health care quality, health care strategy and marketing, leadership, leading effective teams, managing people, performance management, personal management and the development of a bridge project.

2005 Clara Pfaender Grant 2005 - $25,000 for participation of our clinic in community activities such as: community education, onsite immunizations, screenings, and physical for children at Daycare Services of Milwaukee and the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee
2005 Milwaukee AHEC Grant 2005 - $4,000 for community programs focusing on inner city children and “Ask the doctor” program at inner city schools in our clinic area.
