Models of pediatric necks were hand made to simulate normal pediatric anatomy to allow residents and medical students to perform tracheostomies. An evaluation tool was developed to assess learning prior to and after the simulation course.

5. 2017 Otolaryngology Clinical Practice Guidelines for tonsillectomy and ear tubes were incorporated into the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin electronic health record (Epic). When are referral to ENT is ordered, providers are able to review the most recent guidelines for surgery. This has been shared in national presentations, and at the Epic Steering Board for Pediatric Otolaryngology
