08/2011 - 05/2014 Internal Medicine Interest Group member(2011-2013) and Co-Preseident (2013-2014); duties included club oversight, selection of and presentation at monthly journal club, organized yearly picnic, provided mentoring to first and second year medical students interested in Internal Medicine.
09/2011 - 05/2014 Magis Clinic Volunteer; treated homeless patients in free clinic run exclusively by Creighton medical students; educated younger students how to perform physical exams, develop diagnoses, and treat common illnesses.

INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES:
In my free time, my wife and I enjoy spending time together and exploring the outdoors. We love to cross-country ski, bike, and kayak. We also enjoy cooking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and playing with our dogs. When not spending time together, I enjoy listening to jazz and classical music and playing my saxophone.
