2010 - Present Director of Pediatric Pain Pharmaceutical Trials
2014 - 2015 Instituted bi-monthly pain research meetings. These meetings foster the development of studies, grants, manuscripts, conference details and serve as a teaching opportunity for colleagues and students.
2014 - 2015 Inaugurated and Co-Chaired a multi-institutional (MCW, CW, Froedtert Hospital, Marquette University, University of WI-Milwaukee, and the TMJ Association, Ltd.), Pain Research Special Interest Group.
01/01/2019 - Present Collaborative Health Outcomes Information Registry (CHOIR). I lead the registry at three clinics. This program facilitates the collection of critical clinical and research data on pediatric pain.
10/2020 - Present Children’s Wisconsin–Roger’s Intensive Interdisciplinary Pain Management Program. Acting as Research Director for the Children’s Wisconsin group.
In collaboration with General Surgery and the NICU, we initiated the first study on the use of PNCA in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
 
 
 

COVID-RELATED RESEARCH ACTIVITIES:
03/18/2020 - Present Joined CTSI Psychological Sequelae Group. Developed Covid care related questions for our pediatric pain clinic. Our review will provide insight on stress caused by Covid in our patients, as well as coping mechanisms that did/did not work for our patients and their families.
