GLOBAL HEALTH ACTIVITIES:
07/2020 - Present Member of the expert panel of the weekly international tumor board held every Sunday morning(US time). This tumor board discusses cases presented by oncologists practicing at the cancer center in Nepal founded by Binaytara Foundation. The expert panel consists of eminent US-based oncologists, including oncologists from Mayo Clinic, Virginia Mason Cancer Center (Seattle, WA), University of Minnesota, and West Cancer Center (TN). A walk-in tumor board opportunity is also available once a month to all oncologists practicing anywhere in the world.
07/2020 - Present I have been invited to chair the Education Academy of the Binaytara Foundation along with Dr. S. Yadav of Mayo Clinic. Binaytara Foundation is a Seattle-based not-for-profit organization passionate about promoting oncology education and innovative cancer care delivery in the United States and globally. The education academy consists of eminent clinicians, including Dr. P. Hari (MCW), Dr. S. Yadav (Mayo Clinic), and Dr. Aparna Parikh (Director of Global Oncology, Harvard Medical School).
