11/2001 - 05/2004 Alpha Epsilon Delta- mentored a premedical student by helping her prepare for the MCAT, helping her plan her schedule and assisting with her medical school application
11/2001 - 04/2002 MOMS - accompanied a single, pregnant woman to her prenatal visits and to her delivery
06/2002 South Africa - traveled with local physicians and medical students in a mobile clinic to provide healthcare to underserved populations in South Africa
11/2002 - 03/2003 Grade School Physicals - helped physicians provide free physicals in local grade schools
03/2003 Guatemala - delivered medical supplies to local clinics and observed patient care at the clinics
04/2005 Hillside Clinic, Belize - spent one month working at a community clinic and traveling to remote Mayan villages to provide healthcare, promoted healthy food choices to community members, and helped write a guide to herbal medicine in Belize
11/2006 Pediatric Advocacy Project - worked with various community organizations to promote healthy eating, took inner city families grocery shopping to demonstrate healthy purchases
