Description
A component of SCF(FBW7) UBIQUITIN LIGASE that contains an F-box motif and multiple WD REPEATS. It recognizes and binds phosphorylated signals in several proteins involved in CELL PROLIFERATION and targets them to the SCF complex for UBIQUITINATION. Targets include CYCLIN E; PROTO-ONCOGENE PROTEINS C-JUN; PROTO-ONCOGENE PROTEINS C-MYC; and JNK MITOGEN-ACTIVATED PROTEIN KINASES.Search for this term in our Faculty Database
