2005 - 2006 Student Volunteer, Global Brigades, Honduras- Coordinated and organized pharmacy. Translated for physicians. Worked in triage obtaining medical histories and vitals. |
01/2015 Volunteer Medical Provider, Global Brigades, Estelí, Nicaragua- Traveled to remote Nicaraguan villages to provide medical care. Responsibilities involved providing primary care to families, which included history and physical exams. Saw an average of 100 patients over a three- day brigade. Also was involved in the organization of the pharmacy. |
