She discovered a new serine protease inhibitor in synovial fluid and this work is being prepared for publication. She also designed and started an ongoing clinical study on the timing of initiation of allopurinol after an acute attack of gout, which was funded by the Wisconsin chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
