2007 - 2011 Covenant House Clinic, New Orleans, LA. Volunteered in free Saturday clinic seeing patients and instructing medical students on history taking and performing a patient exam.
2009 - 2011 NO AIDS Taskforce New Orleans, LA. Counseled high risk individuals on HIV prevention, promoted community awareness.
2013 American Diabetes Association Triangle D Summer Camp, Ingelside, Il. Served as a member of the medical staff and provided care for children aged 9-13 with Type 1 Diabetes attending a weeklong overnight camp.
2018 - 2019 Camp Kudos, American Diabetes Association Summer Camp Staff, Fort Mill, SC
2021 - 2022 Foster Village Charlotte, Advisory Board Member. Non-profit organization that helps foster families in Mecklenburg County with services back up care and provides community support. On the advisory board and currently advocating for a bill to increase the rights of foster families, specifically to tbe made aware of foster children's medical issues.
