CLINICAL RESEARCH SCHOLARS PROGRAM:
09/10/2013 - 06/23/2015 This program’s goal is to enable each Clinical Research Scholar to successfully compete for research funding. Each meeting (2 per month) starts with an hour-long seminar on topics related to clinical research (e.g., grant writing), tools available to researchers (e.g., biostatistics support, clinical databases), and career-development (e.g., time management). Each seminar is followed by an hour-long small group session, in which scholars review each other’s grants and manuscripts in a style similar to NIH study sections.
