2006 Testimony before WI State Assembly Public Health Committee on AB 976 (Medical Student Loan Forgiveness Program), representing Medical College of Wisconsin.
2006 - 2007 Provider Workgroup, Wisconsin Health Plan; advise state legislators on development and refinement of innovative legislation (Assembly Bill 1140) to provide universal access to health care in Wisconsin.
2006 - 2009 AAFP representative to National Business Group on Health Maternal and Family Health Benefits Advisory Board. Developed a model health insurance benefit plan that will affect 50 million covered lives.
2006 Testimony before WI State Senate Health Care Reform Committee on Medicaid Reform, representing Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians.
2008 - 2009 State of Wisconsin Joint Legislative Council—Special Committee on Performance-based Disease Management. Invited member of expert advisory panel serving state legislature to help craft legislative initiatives to improve health delivery and obesity management.
2010 - Present Invited member of Wisconsin Payment Reform Initiative, a multi-stakeholder group of providers, hospital, payers and others coming together to fix how healthcare is paid for.
