COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES:
2016 - 2017 Preventative Health Coordinator Unidas Para Vivir Mejor (UPAVIM) Worked with this Guatemalan woman led cooperative to implement health education, exercise classes, and nutrition changes.
2018 Trainer, Philippines Helping Babies Breathe (HBB), Helping Mothers Survive (HMS) Implemented a Train the Trainer model to teach HBB and HMS to help reduce infant and maternal mortality in rural areas of southern Philippines.
2019 Trainer, Malawi Operation Smile, Health Babies Breathe (HBB), Helping Mothers Survive (HMS) Taught HBB, an AAP initiative, and HMS, a JHPIEGO initiative, to midwives and nurses in Lilongwe in conjunction with Operation Smile.
2019 Medical Provider, Nigeria Conducted ketamine sedations of children for hernia repairs in rural Nigeria with faculty and nurses from Johns Hopkins Hospital.
