PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT:
2008 Initiated and developed the ACHD cardiology nurse practitioner role, providing advanced practice nursing care to outpatient and inpatient ACHD/cardiothoracic surgery patients. Including the development of standardized patient care protocols, initiation of practice-related research projects, and support for the physician staff including holiday and weekend call.
2008 Initiated and developed the Connective Tissue Disorder Program nurse practitioner role, provding advanced practice nursing care to outpatient CTD patients, including the development of genetic testing protocols.
2015 Initiated monthly meetings in collaboration with the genetics department to review and discuss patients with connective tissue disorders.

RESEARCH IN PROGRESS:
2015 - Present Co-PI for Transition Readiness Assessment in Adolescents and Young Adults with Congenital Heart Disease. Multicenter Participation with the University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center.
