03/12/2010 - 03/18/2010 Alternative Spring Break Trip to Honduras, which aims to provide primary care services to patients in rural Honduras
06/01/2010 - 08/01/2010 As an Intern in the Department for Making Pregnancy Safer at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland under the mentorship of Dr. Matthews Mathai, I worked on several maternal mortality initiatives, including an international training program for midwives and updating the WHO postpartum hemorrhage guidelines.

03/18/2013 - 05/06/2013 I traveled to Zambia as a Senior Medical Student with the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia and worked primarily with Dr. Michael Breen to provide OB/GYN care at the Monze Mission Hospital and also evaluate patients suffering from obstetric fistula to provide fistula repair.

04/01/2017 - 04/30/2017 As a senior resident on the global health pathway, I traveled to Georgetown Hospital in Georgetown, Guyana, to provide OB/GYN care for Guyanese women and provide medical education for the Guyanese OB/GYN residents and medical students, including lectures on core OB/GYN topics, anatomy, and teaching ultrasound skills.
10/10/2019 - 10/25/2019 As a Senior Urogynecology fellow, I traveled to Kibagabaga Hospital in Kigali, Rwanda with the International Organization for Women and Development Fistula Mission. As a part of this experience, I performed evaluation and management of complex genitourinary fistulae under the guidance of senior faculty members and led several educational sessions for the Rwandan OB/GYN residents.
