Abstract

A patient with ten year old central cord syndrome developed some active wrist and finger extension. A flexion deformity of the wrist, however, prevented use of this motor return. The surgical options considered were flexor slide versus STP procedure versus flexor tendon lengthening. Flexor tendon lengthening was done with good functional results.
